Colorado Preseason 2014

I am so grateful for the preseason here in Colorado. It started off a bit shaky with delayed openings and warm weather but mother nature didn't hold anything back this past week after it dumped 30+ inches. There was enough snow to setup a little feature in the bike park near my house in Breckenridge, we got some fun shots and even little video compliments of 4reelmedia.  Huge thanks to Polar Pro, and Hitcase for helping me capture these moments!

Monterey, Pebble Beach, and Laguna Seca Raceway

As i've mentioned before I am incredibly proud of my family, and stepfather Rick. We were privledged to be a part of the premiere of "Racing Through the Forest" a documentary focused on the start of the Pebble Beach Road Races, and the transition into Laguna Seca Raceway, that he produced and took major part in the making of. The premiere was absolutely beautiful and the movie was so well received by the general public and racing community. Congratulations to Rick and Dean Kirkland the director of the film!
We also got to watch Rick race at Laguna Seca (his home track) and take home a 3rd place finish in the CanAm class in his 1972 McLaren. Shake and Bake! Again what a wonderful weekend with family, friends, and some legendary race car drivers.

La ISLA Swimwear Keystone

I have been so fortunate to be able to work with so many different companies from different industries. Not to mention having a boyfriend who is incredible at photography and cinematography has helped me capture a lot of what I do. We went out to take some photos near our home in Keystone for LA ISLA SWIMWEAR... Enjoy ;)

Coaching at Windells Camp

I had the pleasure and opportunity to coach at Windells Camp this summer for 3 sessions, and cannot think of a better way to get back on the snow realistically after knee surgery. It is a truly special experience to get to pass on your knowledge and love of sport to future generations, and I had a wide variety of kids to do so.  Ranging from 6 year olds who had never snowboarded that came all the way over from China- to kids all the way up to 17 that merely traveled from Washington. Coaching is something that takes lots of time and patience, but it is so worth it. It also helps you get back to the basics and make yourself re-learn certain things you thought you had, or have just skipped over because they make you uncomfortable. The kids challenged me and I challenged them everyday, and man do they have  a ton of energy! I look forward to spending many more summers at Mt. Hood and specifically at Windells Camp, thanks for having me! Also, huge thanks to Nick Visconti for hiring me on this summer, it was the best possible situation coming back from this injury.
